【世界文化遺産】【国指定重要文化財】（そのひゃんうたきいしもん）・・・16世紀の琉球王国・尚真王時代、国王が各地を巡航する旅に出る際の礼拝場です。もとは国宝でしたが沖縄戦で損傷したことで国宝指定は解除されましたが1972年、国の重要文化財に指定、2000年11月には首里城跡などとともに「琉球王国のグスク及び関連遺産群」として世界文化遺産にも登録されました。

那覇市、首里城の守礼門と歓会門の中間にある拝所の石門。石門と後方の森を総称して園比屋武御嶽という。石門は永長16年 (1519年) 建立、昭和8年 (1933年) には国宝に指定されたが、沖縄戦で罹災、戦後再建、昭和47年 (1972年) に重要文化財。平成12年 (2000年) 首里城跡と共に【琉球王国のグスク及び関連遺産群】の一つとしてユネスコ世界遺産に登録。

【沖縄県指定史跡】（そのひゃんうたき）・・・世界文化遺産、重要文化財の「園比屋武御嶽石門」の裏手の森にが「園比屋武御嶽」です。16世紀の琉球王国・尚真王時代の御嶽です。御嶽とは、国王が各地を巡航する旅に出る際に拝礼していた場所です。
