Bahai-Weltzentrum

De Berg Karmel isch i verschidene religiöse Quälle z'finde.

Di chliini Grüeninsle zmitzt imene Fluss isch dur de Baha'u'llah Garte Ridvan (arab.

Bahji

S'Landhuus Bahji isch uf eme Hügel, wo i de Gägend liit und früener als Al-Bahja (arab. „Ort vo de Freud“) bekannt gsi isch. Us däm ehemalige Summerpalast vomene riiche Chaufmah namens Udi Khammar, däm ursprünglich au d'Osthelfti vom Huus Abbud ghört hät, sind d'Bewohner nachere Epidemie gflüchtet.

S'Huus vom Abud

I däm Gebäude, wo i zwei Bereich teilt isch und als „Huus Abud“ bekannt gsi isch, hät de Baha'u'llah insgesamt fast siebe Jahr gläbt. Teilwiis händ 13 Persone müse i eim Zimmer läbe. Trotz däne schlimme Verhältniss isch da 1873 s'Heiligste Buech, wo Kitab-i-Aqdas heisst, offebart worde.

Absolutely gorgeous and amazing gardens..however, what a pain to get in! You have to be with a tour if you want to visit the complete gardens, otherwise you can just get up 10 steps.

Note that there are two entrances: the north one is only for a quick view and the south one allows free entry but only as part of a free organized tour.

The gardens arelocated in the heart of Haifa. They comprise of a staircase of nineteen terraces all the way up the northern slope of Mount Carmel. They frame panoramic views of the city and much more!

Loved these gardens! So intricate and immaculately maintained. Go early if you want to beat the crowds (if you are not doing the tour.)
